Wiccan Vows

Hey gals (and guys!) I'm putting some feelers out because I need to find a sample of Wiccan wedding vows. I'm working on a project for my Computer Science class and I'm planning a fake wedding where the groom is Christian and the bride is Wiccan. I know the vows are similar and I want to combine customs, but the sample vows I found no longer exist online - it kept telling me there was no such page. Does anyone know of any sites I can find vows at?

I'm Pagan (was Wiccan for a few years), and the thing is: there aren't any "standard" vows for handfastings. It's very open to being what you want it to be, you know? In general, most pagans write their own vows to make it more special. These are the ones I wrote for my FH and myself:

I, Groom/Bride, take you Bride/Groom to be my beloved wife/husband. I promise to give you the best of myself, and to ask of you no more than I can give. I promise to respect you, realizing that your interests, needs, and desires are no less important than my own. I promise to share with you my time and attention, and to bring joy, strength and imagination to our relationship. I promise to be a tender, faithful husband/wife to you, growing together with you, loving you in good times and in bad, completely and always.

If you have any other handfasting/pagan wedding questions, just let me know.

This book:http://www.amazon.com/Handfasting-Wedding-Rituals-Welcoming-Blessing/dp/0738704709/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1204937969&sr=8-1

has an entire pagan/christian (as well as pagan/catholic and pagan/jewish) handfasting ritual.

paganism *has* no set vows, most are written by the couples.

you can find the book usually on the shelves of your local Big Box Bookstore (so Border's or Barnes and Noble or anyplace that large :)

buy Inviting Hera's Blessing" there is a sub title along the lines of something handfasting rituals.

it has multiple weddings and divides them into three levels. L1 passes for non Denominational anything (so whatever assumptions the group comes with they keep) and three is unmistakably pagan.

less than six dollars and a great resource
