Sam's Club: Flowers?

So, I guess the flower people in-store aren't related to Sam's Corporate and I had some questions about flowers on their website. So, riddle me this...

People who have bought their flowers off the Sam's Club Website:
The website says that you should order your flowers 10-45 days in advance. However, it says that your flowers should get to you in about 10 days. It doesn't let you set a date for when you want your flowers to arrive. So... When did you order your flowers, and when did they arrive? Has the 10 day timeline worked for you?

PS. Looking through the tags there have been a lot of mixed reviews/experiences for ordering bulk flowers online. Has anyone been able to make sense of it? Who did you decide to order from for your wedding?

ETA: I finally went all the way through the Sam's Club website and AFTER they take your credit card info they do actually ask you when you would like your delivery. Well then! All that panic for nothing!

I'm still over a year out, so I haven't officially decided on flowers yet, but i know www.freshroses.com will deliver your flowers on Thursday for your Saturday wedding, so you have time for them to open, and to assemble them.

When we ordered our flowers, we went through Sam's Club but we used the in-store florists and got a terrific deal. I would ask if you could order the flowers in bulk from your in-store florist. We got enough flowers for my bridal bouquet, 6 bridesmaid bouquets, 10 bouts, 22 table centerpieces, and 200 loose roses to pass out to guests for less than $500 total. They did the assembly of the bouquets as part of that cost as well. We picked them up early in the morning of our Saturday wedding. If you want to see the quality of the flowers, you can see some floral shots from our wedding here: http://www.stephcarson.com/lindsay/

I just got done looking at your pictures, and you two look like such FUN people :)

Also, and you probably get this alot, and I'm slightly embarrassed to be even asking it, but is you name now Lindsey Lindsay? If so, that is just cool :)

Thanks! :) We are pretty fun. ;) And you are right, my married name is Lindsey Lindsay (which my students think is SO funny!), but Nate just calls me L-squared now. :)

i found a friend who had a membership at her supplier, and was able to bulk order three weeks prior to the wedding.

i got enough for seven HUGE centerpieces, my gargantuan bouquet, a large MOH bouquet, three bridesmaids bouquets, six bouts (groom, best man, two groomsmen, two fathers), and ten corsages, with plenty to spare for the flower girl, cake topper, and about fifteen other various uses.

total cost? two hundred bucks. and it was all higher end stuff, too.

i had a friend that ordered online from proflowers.com and had a very good experience.

she's one of my aunt's good friends. luckily, my aunt (who is a florist on the side) is available to assemble everything that day. our entire wedding budget is 2k, so it was a HUGE surprise to be able to get that many nice flowers for our wedding. i was resigned to simply have a bouquet and a few corsages/bouts.

i hope you hit the flower jackpot soon! ;)

I ordered my Gerbera Daisies from Sam's but my wedding isn't for two and a half weeks and I'll let you all know how it went then. I set my flowers to be delivered the Tuesday before because Daisies tend to take a bit longer to open I have noticed. I ordered the rest of my flowers from 2groses and they are set to be delivered on Thursday and we'll be putting arrangements and bouquets together on Friday.
